Northwest Aircraft: Socata's 600th TBM Arives!

Salt Lake City, Utah, 27 October 2011 – Northwest Aircraft has taken delivery of Daher-Socata’s 600th series production TBM aircraft – a TBM 850 version – marking a key program milestone and underscoring the on-going demand for very fast turboprop-powered transportation in today’s economic and operating environment.


Northwest Aircraft is an official Socata aircraft distributor and service center for the states of Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming. The aircraft is located at Northwest Aircraft’s Parent Company, Million Air – Salt Lake City.

“With the roll-out of Daher-Socata’s 600th TBM, we celebrate the success of this program. The TBM 850 continues to be a great choice for our customers desiring the capabilities of a light jet but with the operating costs of a single-engine turboprop,” said Bill Haberstock, CEO.

Launched in 1987 through an initial cooperation with U.S. manufacturer Mooney Aircraft before being developed independently by SOCATA, the TBM 700 was the first civilian pressurized single-turboprop to be certified and put in series production. After several evolutionary steps, the TBM program gained further momentum in 2006 with the TBM 850, which today remains the fastest single-engine turboprop aircraft.

Million Air- SLC Expands at Salt Lake City International Airport

Salt Lake City, September 28, 2011 – Million Air – Salt Lake City is proud to announce that it has acquired the assets and Airport leases of the Salt Lake jetCenter, effective, August 1, 2011.

William F. Haberstock, President and CEO of Million Air – Salt Lake City, stated, “The Salt Lake jetCenter had an exclusive and loyal clientele.  We are excited about the opportunity to earn their loyalty by demonstrating our own exceptional customer service.”
 
In 2006, Million Air – Salt Lake City completed a major expansion and renovation of its passenger lobby and pilot amenities.  The inclusion of the jetCenter’s facility grows Million Air – Salt Lake City’s operations to over 400,000 square feet of hangar space at the Salt Lake City International Airport.
 
The Company is renovating the jetCenter’s former facilities.  Included in the renovation plans is a new sales office, showroom and service center for the soon to be released HondaJet aircraft.  Million Air – Salt Lake City’s subsidiary, Intermountain Jet, LLC, became a HondaJet dealer in 2007.

Bill Haberstock Named Entrepreneur of the Year
