Bill Hoddenbach, Vice President of Million Air Salt Lake City’s Maintenance Department, has been named Chairman of the National Air Transportation Association Maintenance and System Technology Committee. Mr. Hoddenbach assumed the Chairmanship at NATA’s national conference held in April in Alexandria, Virginia.

The Aircraft Maintenance and System Technology Committee promotes the interests of NATA members through its work with legislative issues regarding aviation maintenance and operations. Mr. Hoddenbach served in several leadership positions at NATA prior to becoming chairman of the high-profile committee. NATA is a leading organization in the promotion of safety and aviation businesses services, providing support to members through advocacy to the government, media and general public. “We are pleased that Bill’s dedication to safety in our industry has been recognized by the members of NATA,” said Bill Haberstock, President and CEO of Million Air Salt Lake City and a former member of NATA’s Board of Directors. “Bill is a veteran of general aviation and one of the hardest working people I have ever known. He understands that safety and maintenance are the top priorities of our company and our industry. He will do a superb job in this position.”

During his term as chairman of the committee, Mr. Hoddenbach will work with Congress and federal regulatory agencies to monitor regulatory proposals and procedures affecting repair stations and maintenance facilities.
